This handy cable allows you to program your radio from your computer and suits the following and similar radios:

  • QYT KT7900, KT8900, KT-UV980
  • Juentai JT-6188
  • BTECH UV-2501
  • BTECH UV-5001
  • Moonraker MT-270M
Length 1.5m/5ft. One end of the cable has a 3.5mm jack plug which connects to the programming socket on the rear panel of the radio. The other end has a USB plug which connects to the PC's USB port. The cable contains a USB to serial converter, so the radio appears as a COM port on the PC.

Our standard cable uses the SiLabs CP2102 USB to serial chipset.

We also produce a premium version using the FTDI FT232RL chipset (listed separately).

Both work with all current versions of Windows.
