These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions with TechnoFix UK. Please read them carefully before purchase. All statements, guarantees or warranties in our Terms of Trading are in addition to and do not affect your Statutory Rights.

TechnoFix UK may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto our website. You will be asked to read and accept these Terms and Conditions each time you place an order, to make certain you are familiar with the most recent changes.

3. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this Agreement shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer or exclude or restrict any liability by TechnoFix UK

3.1
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you agree that TechnoFix UK shall not be liable either in contract, tort, negligence, statutory duty or otherwise, for any direct loss or damage (including loss or damage which is reasonably foreseeable or occurs naturally in the course of things) resulting from any acts, omissions, failures or delays occurring on or in relation to those parts of the internet not under TechnoFix UK's direct control including, without limitation, damage for loss of business, loss of sales, non-payment of sums due, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of reputation, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss (even where  TechnoFix UK has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage).

4. Missing Items
Customers are expected to report any missing items from their order promptly after delivery. This also has to be verified by TechnoFix UK's stock control system.

5. Operation
5.1
Product images featured on the website are for guidance only and are not always an exact match of a product. Availability of a product cannot be guaranteed.

5.2
All orders received after 3.00pm will be processed on the next business day. Before placing an order, the customer will be requested to accept/decline our terms and conditions. Orders will only be processed if acceptance is indicated and therefore the customer is deemed to have accepted these terms and will abide by them.

5.3
An acknowledgement of your order will be sent to you via email. The placing of an order represents an offer to purchase the products indicated by the customer and is not binding on us until the order is accepted and despatched by us. It is at this point that a binding legal contract is created and any contract is subject to these Terms and Conditions. If a product shown on the website is unavailable, incorrectly priced or incorrectly described, we shall not be obliged to sell you the product.

5.4
Payment for goods must be received in full before an order is despatched. Payment must only be made by methods available on the website. We do not accept cash, cheques or Postal Orders.

6. General
6.1
In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on our website,  TechnoFix UK reserve the right to abstain from fulfilling the order at that price. You will of course be notified, at which point you will be informed of the correct price, and be given the choice to proceed with the order. TechnoFix UK make every effort to get the original details correct, but take into consideration different situations. No contract exists between the customer and TechnoFix UK for the sale of any goods or services until we have received and accepted your order and we have received payment in full (in cleared funds). Once we do so, there is a binding legal contract between us.

6.2
The goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, we will inform you as soon as possible.

6.3
Every effort will be made to deliver the goods as soon as possible after your order has been accepted. Expected delivery times are published on our website. If we are aware of any reason for additional delay we will inform you at the time of placing the order or by later email.

7. Despatch
7.1
Orders despatched by our carriers will sometimes require a signature upon receipt. Orders are normally sent via Royal Mail, myHermes or other carriers chosen by us (you may request a carrier – please contact us before placing the order.)

7.2
We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by any of our couriers. An email is sent to advise when an order has been despatched. This also serves as an acceptance of your order and notes your right to cancel your order. UK items are considered lost by Royal Mail after 15 working days from the date of postage. We will refund or resend (at our discretion) after this time. Overseas items can take a long time to arrive and this is outside our control. In particular, items to certain countries can be held in Customs for long periods. We will refund or resend (at our discretion) after 20 working days (Europe) or 25 working days (rest of World) from the date of postage.

7.3
When placing an order by credit/debit card or Paypal goods will only be despatched to the account holder at an address registered to that account.

7.4
The buyer is responsible for payment of all import duties, customs charges and taxes in their home country.

8. Cancellation Rights
8.1
For buyers in the UK, the Consumer Contracts Regulations provide a cooling off period and a right to cancel your order should you decide not to complete the transaction. The cooling off period begins when goods are received by the customer and ends 14 days later. The regulations require the customer to contact us in writing or by email to notify us of the intent to cancel/return the goods. We cannot accept returns/cancellations if we have not been notified before this period has lapsed. If an order is cancelled within this cooling off period we would expect the goods to be returned to us before we process any refund. We do not refund carriage costs. We also expect goods to be returned in pristine condition with the original packaging and contents and must not be used in a way that constitutes acceptance by the customer.

8.2
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to TechnoFix UK at your own cost. The goods must be returned to the address published on our website within 10 working days and you must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.

8.3
TechnoFix UK reserves the right to cancel the order.

9. Claims
9.1
No liability for any claim for damage or non-functionality shall be accepted unless TechnoFix UK are notified in writing or via email by the purchaser promptly after delivery. This period may be extended at the sole discretion of TechnoFix UK where the manufacturers' replacement exceeds this deadline.

9.2
No liability for any claim will be accepted in the case of goods differing in quantity or descriptions from the particulars given on the delivery note, unless TechnoFix UK are notified in writing or via email by the purchaser promptly after delivery and the onus is on the purchaser to prove any shortage.

10. Returned Goods
10.1
TechnoFix UK will not accept goods for credit or rectification unless TechnoFix UK have been notified beforehand in writing or via email and the goods are received by TechnoFix UK in stock condition with original packaging within 30 days from the date of the order. TechnoFix UK retain the right at our sole discretion whether to accept the return of the goods, or whether to rectify the goods or whether to issue a credit note or refund in respect thereof. Stock condition would be described as the product being in pristine condition.

10.2
The purchaser shall unless otherwise stated be responsible for the cost of outward and return carriage and insurance of all goods returned by the purchaser to TechnoFix UK for credit. Goods shall be at the risk of the purchaser until actual receipt of the goods by TechnoFix UK. The onus of proof of safe delivery shall rest with the purchaser.

10.3
All items returned to TechnoFix UK by pre-arrangement and found to contain no fault will need to be verified as stock condition by  TechnoFix UK.

10.4
Credits and refunds will be processed within 30 days. You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of returning your package, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

10.5
If the goods are found to be faulty or not as described or as a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)  then we will refund your shipping costs, if returned by the shipping method and at the price agreed with TechnoFix UK.

11. Consequential Loss    
TechnoFix UK is excluded from any liability to the purchaser for; losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed; losses that were not caused by any breach on the part of the supplier; business losses, and/or losses to non-consumers.

12. Law    
If any part of these terms and condition shall be found to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions. This contract is and shall be deemed to have been made in England and shall in all respects be governed by English Law.

13. On-line Purchases
13.1
The purchaser is responsible for deciding on the suitability of the goods offered for any particular use and for the consequences arising from modification of the goods.

13.2
Goods are subject to availability; TechnoFix UK will not be responsible for compensating the purchaser for any other losses, which may be suffered if we cannot supply the goods.

13.3
Any dates specified for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and TechnoFix UK shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods where the delay has been caused by factors beyond the control of TechnoFix UK.

14. Content
14.1
TechnoFix UK shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. TechnoFix UK will only be liable for consequential losses within the contemplation of the parties.

14.2
Certain links in this website may lead to other websites which are not under the control of TechnoFix UK. When you activate any of these you will leave our website and TechnoFix UK has no control over and will accept no responsibility or liability for the material on any third party website.

15. Complaint handling procedure
In the unlikely event that you have a reason to make a complaint regarding our service or any of the goods and services supplied to you from our website, please contact us via our website here. All complaints are taken seriously and will be investigated as soon as they are brought to our notice. We will endeavour to rectify any problems as soon as possible.

16. Matters beyond our Reasonable Control
    
TechnoFix UK shall not be held liable for any breach of this Agreement caused by circumstances out of its control including, but not limited to, Acts of God, fire, lightning, flood, or extreme or severe weather, explosion, war, disorder, flood, industrial disputes (whether or not involving our employees), acts or omissions of Internet Service Providers or acts of local or central Government or other competent authorities.

18. Copyrights    
All designs, text, graphics and their selection and arrangement on this website are the copyright of TechnoFix UK or its content providers. As a visitor to the TechnoFix UK website you are licensed to copy electronically or to print portions of this website for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use of materials on this website without TechnoFix UK's prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

19. Website Security    
Check-out and payment on TechnoFix UK website uses the SSL (secure socket layer) system for transferring data via an encrypted channel. Third party payment gateways e.g. Paypal use similar methods to encrypt information in transit.

20. Online vouchers
Terms and conditions applicable to TechnoFix UK online vouchers:

20.1    Only one promotional voucher is permitted per order.
20.2    Promotional voucher codes may only be redeemed on our website toward the purchase or delivery of products.
20.3    Please note that a minimum purchase may apply to voucher code promotions exclusive of postage and packing.
20.4    Promotional vouchers cannot be used retrospectively, i.e. applied to orders already placed with us.
20.5    Certain products may be exempt from voucher code promotions. See promotion specific terms and conditions for details.
20.6    TechnoFix UK reserves the right to cancel/remove online voucher code promotions at any time.
20.7    Voucher codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher offer.
