DE-15 (3 row) male to DB-9 female high quality screened (shielded) cable. Length approx 1.5m/4ft 10ins.

With this cable your Acom 'S' series amplifier is able to determine the exact frequency your transceiver is tuned to. It then automatically switches to the correct band.

One end of the cable has a DB-9 female which connects to the transceiver's CAT/COM socket, the other end has a DE-15 (3 row) male which connects to the CAT/AUX connector on the amplifier.

FT-dx3000: CAT can only be used on USB OR DB9, not both. See Menu item 037 'CAT SELECT'.

FT-991 and FT-991A: DB9 connector needs switching to Cat - Menu item 028 ‘GPS/232C SELECT’
