With this cable your Acom 'S' series amplifier is able to determine the exact frequency your SDR software is tuned to. It then automatically switches to the correct band.

One end of the cable has a DE-15 (3 row) male which connects to the CAT/AUX connector on the amplifier. The other end has a USB plug which connects to a USB port on the PC. The cable contains a USB to serial converter and appears as a COM (serial) port on the PC.

This cable uses the highly regarded FTDI chipset which works with all current versions of Windows and Linux.

Originally designed for Flex transceivers using the SmartSDR PC software, this cable is also suitable for any PC SDR software that can use a USB serial CAT connection.
