High quality screened (shielded) cable. Length approx 1.5m/4ft 10ins.

This cable enables your Yaesu radio to control your Acom 'S' series linear amplifier. The cable assembly has a DE15 male plug which connects to the amplifier's CAT/AUX socket and an 8 pin mini DIN male plug which connects to the transceiver's CAT/LINEAR/TUNER socket.

For use with Acom 'S' series amplifiers, for example:

• Acom 600S
  
• Acom 700S
• Acom 1200S
• Acom 2020S

and Yaesu transceivers FT-710, FT-857, FT-897, FT-891, FT-991(A).

The following functions are available with this cable:

• PTT - The amplifier switches to transmit and back to receive at the same time as the transceiver.
• Band - The amplifier is able to determine the amateur band that the transceiver is set to. It then automatically switches to the correct band.
• Remote on - Switching on the transceiver also switches on the amplifier ready for use.

This Band Data cable must not be used if ACOM 04AT remote automatic antenna tuner and switch is a part of the system. Only serial CAT cables can be used in such a case.

Disconnect any existing PTT cable before connecting this cable - it is not necessary and will cause incorrect operation.
